Palworld has a ton of tough challenges for you to take on in the overworld and its dungeons. However, the peak of difficulty in Palworld’s combat comes from the Tower Boss challenges. Those seeking to cement themselves as the most powerful Pal trainer must find these Palworld tower locations and overcome their faction leaders to reign supreme.
There are tons of rewards you can get from completing the tower challenges in Palworld. The tower challenges themselves also get progressively more difficult. In this guide, we’ll go over all the tower locations, tower leaders, tower rewards and some strategies to counter each tower leader.

All Palworld Tower locations

Tower of the Rayne Syndicate: Location (112,-434)
The first tower boss the game pushes you towards at the end of the tutorial is the Rayne Syndicate tower, located a bit ahead of the foothills of the Plateau of Beginnings. Your opponent is the leader of the Syndicate thugs who can be found around the starting area, locking up Pals in cages and attacking them when they’re alone.
Your opponents will be Zoe and her Electric-type Pal Grizzbolt, a powerful Pal with fast lighting attacks. Watch out for its three-hit melee combo and the powerful AoE blast it deals out when it rushes up to you. Bring Pals with ground-type attacks such as Mud Shot and to counter Grizzbolt.
Tower of the Free Pal Alliance: Location (185,28)
Next up, we have the Free Pal Alliance fanatics, who dominate the next area of the game ahead of the Plateau of Beginnings. You can’t reach this tower without some method of gaining cold resistance.
Once you get there, you must face the Free Pal Alliance leader, Lily, and her powerful Grass-type Pal, Lyleen. Hopefully, you’ve stocked up on some great fire-type Pals by now. Even a high-level Foxspark can be incredibly useful with its flamethrower ability. Rotate between your team of fire types and make quick work of Lily.
Tower of the Brothers of the Eternal Pyre: Location (-588,-518)
In contrast to the frigid location of the Tower of the Free Pal Alliance, the Tower of the Brothers of the Eternal Pyre is located in between deadly rivers of lava near the volcanic region of Palpagos. You’ll need some very heat-resistant gear and some Pals like Chillet, who can protect with ice.
The leader of the Brother of the Eternal Pyre, Axel, and his Pal Orserk are significantly more difficult than any boss before them. Ensure your team is sturdy and you’re loaded with ranged damage, as Orserk is fast enough to blitz most Pals.
Tower of the PIDF: Location (561,334)
Another big jump in damage comes during your fight in the fourth tower, which is located at (561,334) against the leader of the PIFD, Marcus, and his Fire-type Pal Faleris.
Not only is Faleris a powerful Fire-type but it will also fly around the arena. You’ll need a good source of ranged damage to take them down, as they’ll fly across the arena and bombard you with quick barrages of wide AoE attacks. Bring in your best water-type Pals to stand a chance against these two. Even endgame players will struggle against these two if they’re playing solo.
Tower of the PAL Genetic Research Unit: Location (-149,445)
The final tower boss in Palworld is at (-149,445). Currently, this final tower hosts the leader of the Genetic Research Unit, Victor, and his dark-type Pal Shadowbeak. Shadowbeak has 220,000HP and is resistant to even the best bullets and weapons you can craft.
It’s truly the most difficult challenge available in Palworld, and even with favourable world settings, you would have to recruit the help of friends with optimised endgame setups to have a chance at beating this tower.
