Palworld has managed a feat no game previously did, becoming Steam's most-played game in a manner of days since release. The massive popularity of the game stems from the Pokemon-esque creatures known as Pals, and a similar gameplay. While you are in the wild, catching Pals, one must ask does Palworld have Shiny Pals?
Palworld Pals come in different forms, shapes, and sizes and there are three distinctive options: Alpha, Lucky, and Fusion Pals. As you can see there is no mention of Shiny Pals in Palworld, but not everything is matte.

Does Palworld have Shiny Pals?
In Palworld, you won't find the term Shiny Pal, meaning that Palworld does not have Shiny Pals. However, Palworld is home to Lucky Pals. These creatures are upgraded Pals and have a glittering aura around them. They are rarer than regular ones and have unique sound effects and passive abilities.
Although rare, you are bound to stumble upon a few while in the wild. In fact, in 10 to 12 hours you will find at least one, but if you are really lucky, you will find a couple more. For now, there is no official spawn rate, but consider it low, but still higher than Shiny Pokemon. Anyway, look for a glittering light around Pals and their twinkling sound.
Each Lucky Pal comes with a 'rare' or 'lucky' passive ability. These abilities increase different stats by 15%:
- Work Speed
- Attack
How to catch Luky Pals in Palworld
Lucky Pals are not only rarer but also tougher than regular Pals. You will need to be well-prepared for a showdown with them. This means that you will need plenty of Pal spheres to catch a Lucky Pal.
You can weaken them after a fight and add them to your party. If you are left without the resources during the fight and you haven't completed the process, you are safe to return to the base, refill, and then get back to where you found Lucky Pal. These do not despawn and will stay in the same place once you find them.
Once the battle is over and you go back to your base, you will notice a distinction between the Lucky Pal and the regular ones. Lucky Pals are bigger in size.
With an increased Work Speed and Attack stats, Lucky Pals are great for tasks around the base and other automation tasks and are pretty useful in combat. You can breed them and hunt for them whenever you are out in the wild.
