Paper Mario: The Origami King's second major area involves a trip to Shogun Studios!
To access the Ninja house, you'll need to move the Chain Chomp. While she may fiercely guard the path, she can be moved by giving it a bone.
If you've spotted the bone being tossed by the Dry Bones, you'll need to trade something throwable to get it.
Here's how to get rid of the Chain Chomp.
How To Get To The Straw In Paper Mario: The Origami King
The first item you need to grab is the straw. It's very easy to locate, in the restaurant opposite the Chain Chomp (above the Save block) is a Shy Guy.
The Shy Guy happily gives you the straw without needing to trade for anything.
This will be needed to trade for the Shurikens.
How To Get The Shurikens In Paper Mario: The Origami King
In order to get the Shurikens, you'll need to find the ninja standing by a pond holding the Shuriken.
From the central stip, head north until you reach the big bridge. Turn right and walk past the save block and continue on.
Head up to the Ninja and they will tell you that they thought it was Shuriken practice day and needs something to breathe underwater.
Trade the straw for the Shurikens. The Shurikens will be traded for the Baseball with the owner of the Shuriken shop.
The owner is currently napping in a closet in the Staff Room.
How To Get To The Staff Room In Paper Mario: The Origami King
It's not far to go from where you are to the staff room, come back out of the area with the pond and head right.
There will be a grass fence that runs parallel to the pond area entrance. At the very end is an obvious hidden door that you can enter.
Once through that door, head into the door ahead of you and into the Staff Room.
How To Get The Baseball In Paper Mario: The Origami King
The Baseball is located in the Shuriken Shop, but to get it the owner needs to be there.
Open the closet in the very left corner of the Staff Room and you'll find a napping Toad inside - once talking to them they will return to the shop.
If you head back to the central strip of Shogun Studios, you'll notice a shuriken sign pointing left shortly before the big bridge.
Follow the sign left and into the Shuriken Shop.
Once inside the Toad will inform you that they have no shurikens to set up their game. Give the shurikens to the Toad.
They will then offer you the chance to win the Baseball by playing on Normal difficulty and getting exactly 21 points (the game ends once you collect 21 points, you do not have to wait for the timer).
Hit the Shuriken flingers, with your hammer, at the moving targets. If you get too many points, use the negative scores to reduce your total.
How To Get The Bone In Paper Mario: The Origami King
To get the bone, head back to the central strip and go right (as if you were heading to the Chain Chomp).
Above will be three doors, head to the first door on the left and out the back of the room - this is where the Dry Bones throwing the bone will be located.

The last step is to head back to the Chain Chomp and place the bone in its bowl.
Once you have done that the Chain Chomp will start to eat the bone and allow you to pass through.
