Xbox boss Phil Spencer will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award at the upcoming 25th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards. That'll be presented to him by Bethesda director and producer Todd Howard.
Announced by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS), Spencer will receive this award during the event on February 24, 2022, which takes place at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas. AIAS president Meggan Scavio provided this statement:
“On behalf of the Academy’s Board of Directors, we are looking forward to celebrating Spencer’s important impact on video game history by presenting him with our Lifetime Achievement Award.”

Scavio also described the Xbox boss' career that revolved around his "passion and leadership." She continued by saying:
“Phil Spencer has demonstrated both passion and leadership throughout his entire career at Microsoft. He’s responsible for countless impactful and pivotal initiatives that have reverberated throughout the entire gaming industry.
