Looking for an electrifyingly cute companion to join you on your journey? This guide on how to catch Pawmi in Pokemon Go will get you the travel buddy you’ve been searching for.
Pawmi is a small, rodent-looking Electric-type Pokemon with mostly orange fur. It was added to Pokemon Go in 2023 as part of the Ultra Unlock: Paldea event.
Pawmi is just one of hundreds of different Pokemon you can catch in the game, so be sure to check our guides on how to catch Chinchou and Litten to expand your collection.
How to capture Pawmi in Pokemon Go
Pawmi can be caught after encountering it in the wild like most other Pokemon. Just remember to have a decent amount of PokeBalls with you at all times and you should be able to catch one before you know it.
This diminutive Pokemon has been featured in a Spotlight Hour before where it had an increased chance to be encountered in the wild for 60 minutes. However, the cute little furball is already a common encounter so there’s no need to panic if you’ve missed the event.
Pawmi can evolve into a Pawmo, which can then evolve into a Pawmot. Though much larger in stature compared to Pawmi, Pawmot is still very much a cute and cuddly Pokemon.
Can Pawmi be shiny in Pokemon Go?
At the time of writing this guide, Pawmi’s shiny form has yet to be added to Pokemon Go. Pawmi is relatively new to the game, but we can expect to get its shiny version at some point in the future.
Shiny Pawmi is shown to have pink fur instead of orange in other Pokemon games. Its adorable little cheeks remain yellow, though.
