A big part of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is the sandwich system found in the picnics you set up with your Pokemon. By using very specific ingrediants, you can boost anything from EXP gains to shiny odds for a set amount of time. But with the bigger buffs needing rare ingredients, knowing how to get Herba Mystica in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will really help.
Though you'll hear about them very early in the game, Herba Mystica - or their specifically flavoured versions, at least - aren't a common find in Paldea. But you'll need a lot of them if you're a collector working on a living or shiny dex.

How to get Herba Mystica in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Beyond the few you'll come across in the Path of Legends missions against Titan Pokemon, top-tier Herba Mystica used in special sandwich recipes aren't something you'll come across before the credits roll.
Once you've put the game's version of the Pokemon League behind you, you'll unlock the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet post-game content. This includes five-star raids that award flavoured Herba Mystica like the Salty or Sour variety.
You won't be able to get Herba Mystica in raids below five-star rarity, so keep your eyes firmly on the five-star prize as soon as you see those credits roll.
Can you get more than one Herba Mystica in a five star raid?
Though the odds seem relatively low, it is possible get more than one Herba Mystica from a single five star raid in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Just a few days before release, someone with the game early posted a screenshot of a Gengar raid awarding two different Herba Mystica. There's reason to believe it's possible to get even more, but the odds would start to get very slim.
That means, for the most part, you'll be raiding to get one Herba Mystica at a time, with the slim potential of getting two or more on the odd occasion.
Given they're a near-essential part of making sandwiches to help farm shiny Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet, be prepared to do a lot of five star raids if you're hoping to collect every shiny Pokemon you can.
