Ready to jump into an urban open-world game with anime aesthetics? If you are, it's worth getting to know the Project Mugen characters who can join you on your adventures throughout the city. After all, you’re bound to run into more than just pedestrians as you roam the streets.
Since it’s a gacha game, we expect Project Mugen to have a deep cast of characters. Much like games such as Genshin Impact and Zenless Zone Zero, most of your roster will be determined by chance. From there, you’ll need to work with what you have and come up with unique strategies to take on some of the more challenging content in the game.
All Characters in Project Mugen
Here are all of the characters that have been revealed for Project Mugen so far.
- Alan
- Bansy
- Dila
- Mechanika
- Taffy
Despite there being only a handful of characters revealed so far, the Project Mugen cast is already shaping up to be a unique ensemble. Here's everything we know about them so far, so you can already start picking out your favorites.
Alan
Handsome, charming, and extremely talented with a yo-yo, Alan can shift the momentum of a fight with a simple toy. This young man has a background in modelling, although he never lets his studies fall to the side. Sure, his name is perhaps the most boring of any character in a gacha game, but Alan brings a unique flair to the table.
Bansy
Bansy is a vibrant young street artist who prefers using guns and grenades in a fight. It may look like she’s firing lasers in combat, but you’ll find streaks of paint in the aftermath of battles that Bansy has been in.
Dila
JRPGs almost always have that mysterious warrior with a giant sword and Project Mugen brings that archetype to life in the form of Dila. As the most elusive character in the game so far, it’s safe to assume that she’ll have a big role to play in Project Mugen’s overall plot.
Mechanika
Mechanika is an exceptional tinkerer with the ability to give machines life. She has a little robot friend who follows her around, ready to help the young mechanic in any way possible. During her free time, Mechanika likes having concerts with her machine buddies.
Taffy
A small girl with bunny ears and big dreams, Taffy aims to become a legendary investigator one day. The bike she rides has the ability to transform into a hammer, something that has proven to be extremely useful when trying to whack bad guys upside the head.
And that’s all the characters that have been confirmed for Project Mugen so far. We’ll be sure to update this guide whenever new characters are revealed as the Project Mugen release date approaches.
