How to Connect a DualSense to Steam

So there’s some good and bad news for DualSense support on PC.

As of right now, not every feature of the controller is yet compatible.

As of now, rumble, trackpad, haptic feedback and gyro functions are among those you won’t be able to use.

But otherwise, you can still play any game with your new controller!

If you want to use your controller through Steam, you’ll need to sign up for the Beta.

To do this, open up Steam and go over to your settings.

Open up the account tab and select the change button under beta participation.

If you aren’t signed up to the beta, select the Steam beta update and then restart the program.

Once this is done, you can connect your PS5 DualSense controller, and can set it up just like any other.

And there you have it!

Now you can play your favourite Steam games with your PS5 controller.

Hopefully, more compatibility will be added over time, and see this feature leave public beta in the near future!
