PS5 Release Date and Cost
So the burning question is when exactly will the PS5 release?
It's been publicly stated that it will release in the 'Holiday 2020', which means it could be anytime between October and December.
If you remember when the PS4 launched, it was officially released on the 15th November 2013 - meaning the PlayStation 5 is due a near Christmas release.
This is further validated by a leak that suggested the console will release on the 20th November, putting it in direct competition with the Xbox Series X (rumoured to also have a November release date).
Â
It's estimated that the PS5Â will cost ÂŁ400 mark - which will be priced competitively with the Xbox Series X. There are plenty of factors that will influence the final cost - games, marketing, region etc.
Microsoft has revealed Halo Infinite will be a launch title, while the PS5 will likely launch with a few big exclusives; none of which have been officially confirmed.
PS5 Pre Order
According to GamesRadar, a number of retailers, such as GAME in the UK, Best Buy in the US, and Game Mania in the Netherlands have launched sign-up pages online.
On these pages, you can sign up and be notified the second the PS5 will be available to pre-order; we would estimate this will come around E3 2020.

On the production side, dev kits are landing at developer’s doors, and have found their way on to Reddit.
Companies like Square Enix ave revealed they’re hard at work on on a PS5 version of Final Fantasy XIV, while BioWare has dropped a teaser trailer for a 2022 release of Dragon Age 4.
