Raven Software Reveals Logic Behind Warzone Playlist Changes

Warzone has a wide variety of playlists that cater to all kinds of players. The standard Battle Royale playlists often prove popular alongside Rebirth Resurgence that increases the pace for those that prefer more action.

More often than not, the most popular modes disappear thanks to Raven Software's weekly playlist updates, much to the annoyance of the community.

With the start of Season 2 on the horizon, the Warzone developer has revealed why it makes changes to playlists on a regular basis and it turns out its reasoning is to benefit the community rather than hinder it.

Why Does Raven Software Remove Warzone Playlists?

In a blog post, Raven Software explained that satisfying the largest number of players is the main priority when changing playlists. By removing a popular playlist, the developer assesses its popularity by seeing how many players are asking for its return.

The blog also contains details on Raven Software's plans for new playlists arriving in Season 2, teasing the possibility of Iron Trials making its long-awaited return alongside a "fun secret" that may coincide with the rumoured seasonal event set to take place in the upcoming season.
