Since the arrival of Fortune's Keep, Warzone players often share their praises for the new map with some preferring it to Rebirth Island. Following the reveal of new content arriving in Season 4 Reloaded, there's every chance fans will make a return to the island resembling Alcatraz.

In addition to the Fortune's Keep Cursed Ground event and the arrival of Vanguard Zombies camos into the game, a new Rebirth limited-time mode (LTM) is also on the way. Known as Rebirth of the Dead, zombies are returning to the battle royale for the first time since the destruction of Verdansk.

The LTM resembles the Zombie Royale mode that made its debut in 2021 along with elements of the Infected mode from Call of Duty multiplayer. Find all there is to know about the Rebirth of the Dead LTM in this guide containing everything from the rules to turning into a zombie!

Warzone Rebirth of the Dead LTM Release Date

Rebirth of the Dead goes live on July 27, 2022 which is the same day as the Season 4 Reloaded update.

Expect it to be one of the more popular Warzone LTMs thanks to the presence of the undead.

Warzone Rebirth of the Dead Rules

A total of ten teams drop into Rebirth Island and just like standard battle royale, they battle to become the last squad standing. Rather than eliminated players dropping into the action as a living Operator, they land on the ground as a zombie.

While zombies can add to their numbers by scoring kills on the remaining group of living opponents, the undead can return to the land of the living by collecting antivirals that appear all over the map. Here's how to find them:

  • One antiviral - Inside crates or Buy Stations
  • Two antivirals - Scored by killing Operators
  • Four antivirals - Perform a Finishing Move as a zombie.

Over the course of a match, the infestation meter will fill as the number of eliminated zombies increases. Once the meter reaches its maximum, all spectators return to the game as a zombie.

Thankfully, these challenges are straightforward to complete which means you can unlock the content before the Rebirth of the Dead LTM disappears from Warzone.
