Details are starting to spill out, and the Valorant Mobile release date is suddenly looking a little closer than we initially expected. There's likely still a lot of behind-the-scenes work left to do on the game, but it looks like some small-scale tests could be taking place to set the final direction the rework takes for its small-screen debut. Here's what we know.
Riot has expanded into mobile gaming in recent years, developing and publishing League of Legends Wild Rift, Teamfight Tactics, and Legends of Runeterra on our little handheld computers. And if recent leaks are anything to go by, Valorant Mobile is the company's next push into the mobile market.

When Is the Valorant Mobile Release Date?
At the time of writing (April 7, 2022), a release date for Valorant Mobile is unknown. Despite this, Riot is allegedly running small-scale tests within China, suggesting development is well underway.
That comes from a since-retracted post caught by prominent leaker PlayerIGN on Twitter. The tweet even includes a few images reportedly saved from the deleted article itself.
Once we hear more information on an exact launch date for the game, we'll update the article with all the latest information.
What Agents are in Valorant Mobile?
- Brimstone
- Jett
- Sova
- Phoenix
- Killjoy
- Reyna
- Skye
Although nothing official is confirmed, a leaked screenshot from the test build shows a total of seven agents available to select. As development progresses, it's highly likely the agent pool will expand to include all agents available within the PC version of the game.
Will There Be A Valorant Mobile Beta?
Like the PC iteration of Valorant, there's a chance of a closed beta for Valorant Mobile taking place so Riot can gather player feedback before releasing the game out into the open. Once we hear more information on any kind of beta, we will update the article with everything there is to know.
Riot ran a Legends of Runeterra beta a while before the game released, with Wild Rift - the mobile version of hit MOBA League of Legends - still undergoing an expanded beta to this day. Given its track record, expecting a Valorant Mobile beta at some point in the future doesn't sound like a farfetched idea.
And that's about all there is to know about the Valorant Mobile release date right now. It isn't much, but we fully expect official info drops to begin sometime this year as competition heats up in the mobile gaming space. The Apex Legends Mobile release date seems to be right around the corner, after all.
