Dead Space Remake Changes Plasma Cutter and Pulse Rifle After Fan Feedback

EA and Motive’s Dead Space remake will be changing how the Plasma Cutter and Pulse Rifle sound after fan feedback revealed that they didn’t like the new noises these weapons made. The new sound effects were shared on EA’s official Dead Space Twitter account, showing how they improved on what fans didn’t like about the sound effects.

Dead Space Remake Changes Plasma Cutter and Pulse Rifle

Fans are still mixed on EA and Motive’s Dead Space remake, which mostly has to do with Visceral Games being shut down. In case you don’t know, EA forced Visceral Games to add co-op and microtransactions to Dead Space 3 and then shut down the studio after the shooter didn’t meet their sales projections.

The Dead Space remake is currently scheduled for a 2023 release, likely for next-gen systems such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
