In Remnant, you constantly have to fight for your life. The game features dozens of different bosses, and this guide covers how to beat Mother Mind in Remnant 2. The giant creature inhabits the Nameless Nest and can be a serious problem for those unprepared for this battle.
However, the progenitor of Root Flyers from Yaesha isn’t that tough if you know all the tricks up her sleeve. Don't expect this fight to be easy though, as you'll need quick reflexes to dodge all attacks of Mother Mind.

How to defeat Mother Mind in Remnant 2
Mother Mind is one of the bosses you will encounter in Yaesha, and she looks like a giant Root Flyer. The strategy is quite simple and you just need to dodge all incoming attacks and deal damage to the boss.
The arena is a circle of four stone platforms connected to each other by bridges. The centre of this place is a large hole over which the boss hovers. Mother Mind has two giant arms with scythe-like claws. She is able to perform different attacks with these limbs.
The first type of attack is vertical slashes. After performing such a move, the boss will stick a claw into the platform, and then try to pull it back. We would recommend you dodge to the side when you see the boss perform such an attack.
The second attack with claws is a horizontal slash. In order to avoid this move, you should dodge backward and stay away from the cliff. Mother Mind is able to fire slow red projectiles that will hit one of the stone platforms and leave puddles of some acid. Try to avoid both projectiles and puddles if possible.
After Mother Mind loses 25% of her HP, she becomes immune to your attacks. After that, the boss will perform two horizontal slams on one of the stone platforms. Leave this place as quickly as possible, as the platform will be destroyed by Mother Mind. There are four of these platforms, and the boss will destroy three of them during the fight. So, you will have less and less room to manoeuvre. After destroying one of the platforms, Mother Mind will spawn some Root Flyers that we recommend you deal with first. Then you will be able to focus on the boss again.
In general, just aim at the red eye-like thing in the centre of the boss’s head to deal critical damage, and avoid all the attacks we described above. You may need a couple of tries, but at some point, you will beat Mother Mind.
