Cheaters have been running rampant in Warzone for several months, much to the annoyance of players wanting to drop into a match on a level playing field. Since the launch of Season 1 for Warzone Pacific, RICOCHET's back-end improvements have seemingly had a positive impact as players wait for the launch of the highly-anticipated kernel-level driver which should eliminate the vast majority of cheaters from the streets of Caldera.
After the kernel-level driver went live in the Asia Pacific region when the new season launched, it now appears that the December 15th update has implemented the driver for all players across the world, much to the delight of the community.

Warzone RICOCHET Anti-Cheat Worldwide Release
On December 15th, Team RICOCHET published a blog post announcing that the kernel-level driver has gone live for all Warzone players on PC. The blog states that the driver is part of a "multi-faceted anti-cheat" alongside the regular ban waves that take place to deal which deal even more damage in the fight against cheaters.
How To Download RICOCHET Kernel-Level Driver
The kernel-level driver was included in the December 15th update for Warzone, meaning PC players don't need to search for a separate download. The only way to play the battle royale on PC is by having RICOCHET installed, meaning there are very few ways for cheaters to bypass the system and gain an advantage.
Does The RICOCHET Anti-Cheat Work?
Considering the anti-cheat has only been active for a few hours, it's currently unclear as to how well it's working. While we've been dropping into the action, we've definitely noticed fewer hackers which is already a huge improvement from the final seasons of Verdansk.
