Although Season 4 is well underway, the attention of some players is already turning to the launch of Warzone Pacific Season 5 which could be the final season of the Pacific era before the launch of Warzone 2.

Season 4 introduced the Fortune's Keep map alongside the UGM-8 LMG and the Marco 5 SMG which continue to feature in the ever-changing metagame. With so much content arriving in Season 4, the community is expecting Season 5 to feature just as much whether it's significant Caldera map changes or another brand-new map.

Warzone Pacific Season 5 start date

Thanks to the emergence of the Season 5 cinematic trailer, the next season of post-launch content will commence on August 24, 2022.

Warzone Season 5 trailer

The first trailer for Last Stand shows the arrival of Menendez, Al-Asad, and Seraph flying over Peak in a helicopter strapped with a mysterious crate hanging underneath. The crate drops into the volcano, meaning we could see huge map changes.

Warzone Season 5 content

As with any new Warzone season, players can expect a similar batch of content ranging from a selection of new weapons to an all-new Battle Pass filled with 100 tiers of cosmetic items, blueprints, and XP tokens. Here's a rough list of what to expect in Warzone Season 5:

  • Battle Pass
  • Seasonal Events
  • 3 new weapons (2 in the Battle Pass)
  • New limited-time modes
  • Map updates
  • Weapon buffs and nerfs
  • Bug Fixes
  • New Operators - Menendez, Al-Asad, Seraph
  • Seasonal event

With Rebirth Island returning to Warzone alongside Caldera and Fortune's Keep, the chances of a new map appearing during the remainder of the Pacific era are slim.

The next new map is likely to launch with Warzone 2 which will release later this year following the launch of Modern Warfare 2 on October 28.

Warzone Umbrella Academy

Following another leak from within the Warzone files, a collaboration with the Umbrella Academy Netflix series is expected to arrive in the not too distant future.

Other than two Operator bundles, information on the crossover remains slim. Once we hear more, check out our Warzone Umbrella Academy hub for all the intel.

Warzone Season 5 guns

Thanks to a recent leak from notable dataminer "Reality," the two guns appearing in the Season 5 Battle Pass are the EX1 and the RA 225. The EX1 is expected to be a variation of the EM1 rifle that featured in 2014's Advanced Warfare
