Shiba Inu is gearing up to the full launch of its Shiba Inu Game, and seems to be planning something for the Shiba Eternity Download Day.
With the Shiba Eternity test now live in Vietnam, SHIB holders are eagerly awaiting the full launch of the game. In fact, some players may be getting around this Vietnam location wall. SHIB devs had to increase server capacity by 50x to keep up with demand.
As we get closer to the full launch of Shiba Eternity, here are the latest comments about its release.
Shiba Eternity Download Day planned
To mark the full launch of Shiba Eternity, SHIB is planning for Download Day to help boost the game immediately as it goes live.
This idea was first pitched in the official SHIB Discord server by project lead Shytoshi Kusama. He said:
We're planning a Download Day and will ask everyone to download the game. Even if they never spend a dime. Then we can really start making moves.
Shytoshi did not expand on this, but said that “more details on all that [will come] sooner than later.”
It appears that SHIB will make a major push to get its 1.2 million holders downloading Shiba Eternity, whether through deals, a social media blitz, or any other way it has planned. Shytoshi did say he hopes the game hits 1 million downloads at some point.
As for when this Download Day is - which could mark the launch of Shiba Eternity - the latest information from Shytoshi Kusama suggests it could release in September.
Outside of Shiba Eternity, there’s plenty of Shiba Inu news for other SHIB projects. Most of the focus remains on Shibarium, with the Shibarium beta potentially coming in August. Meanwhile, the SHIB price also soared 37% over the weekend.
