With the Shiba Inu metaverse development now in full swing, many SHIB holders are turning their attention to metaverse hubs such as the WAGMI Temple. Having land next to these key areas is seen as potentially lucrative venture, but what about the metaverse streets?
Cutting through the metaverse map are nine streets, also Shiba-inspired names, such as BONE Boulevard and FUD Avenue.
As SHIB holders continue to hype up more projects on the Shiba Inu roadmap, such as Shibarium, here’s a closer look at the metaverse streets.
Shiba Inu Metaverse Street Names
After requesting street names from the community in March 2022, the metaverse has updated to include these choices. Added earlier in 2022, the Shiba Metaverse streets are an integral part of the metaverse map.
The nine street names included on the metaverse map are as follows:
- SHIB’s Road
- All-Time-High Lane
- Whale St
- Woof St
- Wen St
- Decentralized Corridor
- LEASH St
- FUD Avenue
- BONE Boulevard
Land on these streets, or roads, is not available to purchase. Meanwhile, all plots of land directly next to these streets have been bought up, having been minted early on when the Shiba Inu land sale first started. Currently, around 20,000 plots of SHIB metaverse land have been minted.
Of course, aside from these roads linking the various hubs, there has been little information on the utility or use of these metaverse streets. The ShibaSwap blog states:
Some lands will remain locked as they represent key locations for travel within the metaverse and stay private to be used as common grounds.
While there are still thousands of plots still not minted, the metaverse will also expand to over 100,000 plots once it is fully minted. We’re not sure whether new streets will be added to the map to represent this.
