This room contains a hidden event that can be easily missed on a first playthrough. Right after you meet with Maria at Rosewater Park, you can head to Jack’s Inn (ground floor), where Room 106 is found.

When you first enter the room at this point, don’t expect anything major to happen. This is because the true secret linked to Room 106 is only accessible after completing a later portion of the game.

To trigger the discovery, you must progress through the game until after you complete the Brookhaven Hospital section. At this point, you will acquire the Historical Society Key and return to South Vale at night.

Once you're back in South Vale, you should revisit Jack’s Inn and go back into Room 106. When you go back to Room 106 to discover its secret, there won’t be any enemies. This means you can explore the room without fear of encounters.

The room will now hold the key to unlocking the hidden All Seems in Order trophy. Once inside, you’ll spot a tear in the wallpaper near the bed that reveals a strange symbol.

Interacting with this symbol will reveal more of the secret. This room is believed to be linked to the lore of the cult and has additional ties to Silent Hill 3.

In that game, Heather stayed in the same room, and there are subtle callbacks to that event through references like the deconstructed Halo of the Sun symbol found here.

Some players speculate that this room might be tied to the game’s overarching story, which hints at theories like a potential time loop, though these remain speculative.
