While fans of horror games are gearing up to play the highly anticipated Resident Evil Village in just a few short months.
Fans of the horror genre are always looking for the next scary game to check out.
Thankfully, fans of the Silent Hill series may not have to wait for another entry into the series.
As new leaks have surfaced which allude to the notion of a Silent Hill remake in the works.
Here's all we know!
Blooper
In a new interview with GameIndustry.Biz, Blooper Team CEO Piotr Babieno noted the following:
We’ve been working for more than a year on another gaming project, another horror IP, and we’re doing this with a very famous gaming publisher
I can’t tell you who. I can’t tell you what the project is, but I’m pretty sure when people realize we’re working on it, they will be very excited.
This is very interesting and it would not surprise us if this title turns out to be Silent Hill.
However, it appears that this title is only the first of many Silent Hill projects currently in development.
As VGC has noted that they have already contracted Konami to develop one of these games:
However, VGC understands that Konami has already outsourced a Silent Hill project to a prominent Japanese developer, with a reveal due this summer.
For now, we will have to wait and see which of these titles actually releases this Summmer!
