From casting spells on chickens, to being hunted down by couriers, and even marrying a werewolf, it kind of feels as though Skyrim’s Dragonborn has done pretty much everything at this point.

After all, on top of all of the experimenting that players have done in the base game, modders have also had over a decade to bring all of their ideas and overhauls to fruition, offering people endless opportunities to jump back in and play more of the game.

Sadly, it seems that Bethesda’s appetite for re-releasing the game just won’t die, with the latest version of the RPG having just arrived on the Nintendo Switch.

Are you interested in buying Skyrim’s latest version on yet another platform?

As listed on the Nintendo eShop, buying Skyrim’s Anniversary Edition on Switch will set you back £49.99, assuming that you’re investing in the game for the first time on the platform.

Luckily, for those who already own a version of the game on Switch and just want to ensure that they can enjoy all of the little updates added to it over the years, there is an upgrade option available that’ll allow you to avoid paying full price yet again.

So, fear not, because the ability to fish throughout the waters of the province without diving in and getting your armour wet can be yours via the rather infamous fishing game mode added to celebrate the ten-year anniversary of the game’s release.

But wait, there’s more, with survival mechanics and some quests involving popular themes and items from previous Elder Scrolls games giving you the chance to accurately simulate how difficult life has been while waiting for The Elder Scrolls 6 and a bit of a nostalgic shot in the arm to try and numb that pain respectively.

There are also seemingly some goodies based on The Legend of Zelda thrown in there too, allowing you to dress your Dragonborn up as Link and squint really hard in an effort to make Alduin look a bit more like Ganon.

Regardless of whether those additions have you sold on buying yet another copy of Skyrim, make sure to follow us for more updates on the wacky world of Skyrim modding.
