The best suit tech upgrades in Spider-Man 2
Here's a basic look at which Spider-Man 2 suit tech upgrades we recommend picking up. Again, these are only guidelines. They're based on our first playthrough and the lessons learned throughout; they're designed to make things a little easier, combat weightier, and things a little more forgiving:
All Seeing
We've covered this one in our guide on how to find Tech Stashes in Spider-Man 2, which should convey the use-case for this one relatively straightforward.
Simply put, the All Seeing tech upgrade in Spider-Man 2 makes tracking notoriously well-hidden Tech Stashes a great deal easier. You'll still have to search around the area yourself, but at least you'll know you're not wasting your time by hanging around an entirely empty industrial estate assuming there's something nearby.
Double / Triple Focus
Both of these sequential upgrades will add a third and fourth Focus Bar to your combat prowess respectively, letting you pull off more wacky combat antics for longer. We don't really need to try much harder to convince you of this one, do we?
Amazing Damage
To supplement the time you put into unlocking the extra Focus Bars, we suggest grabbing Amazing Damage and its follow-up skills as well.
As you can imagine, these perks make every action deal more damage, helping you push through the rabble more quickly, and even beat up bosses at record speed.
Unlocking Amazing Damage 1 and 2 isn't the end. Look for Spectacular Damage 1 and 2 to boost things further, and the Ultimate Damage 1 and 2 perks to really pack a punch.
Confidence Boost (Health)
This one is wholly subjective. The Confidence Boost perk in Spider-Man 2 is only one of the best suit tech upgrades if you're not overly confident in your ability to trigger it and its rewarding heal.
Sound strange? Think about it. Gaining the ability to heal on a Perfect Dodge becomes redundant if you're too good at performing them to even take any damage. Instead, it's best viewed as an incentive to improve your ability to pull it off.
A trial by fire but with a first aid kit at the end. If you need it, you need it. If you don't, you don't. Grab another damage boost, Slick.
