Not entirely sure how to find Tech Stashes in Spider-Man 2? We're stating the obvious here, but you'll need them to hit that coveted 100 per cent completion record and nab yourself a platinum trophy. Don't worry, though: you won't have to search every nook and cranny of New York. Not without a built-in guide, at least. You just have to unlock it.

Yes, it seems even the good folks over at Insomniac Games know that a collect'a'thon isn't something we all have time for these days. Many other games from the past, ironically also known as Spider-Man 2, would have left you relying on your own spidey senses to track every item down. You're welcome to do that here, but you have the option to make things easier.

For more Spider-Man 2 guides, here's whether Spider-Man 2 is on PS4, whether or not Spider-Man 2 co-op is a thing given there are literally two of them running around the streets this time, and all confirmed Spider-Man 2 villains. See if your favourite is on the list, or leave it to be a nice (or sour) surprise as you play. All of these guides and tons more can be found in our dedicated Spider-Man 2 walkthrough hub!

How to find Tech Stashes in Spider-Man 2

The best way to find Tech Stashes in Spider-Man 2 is to rely on your Traversal Suit. By unlocking the 'All Seeing' perk, which is the sixth available upgrade on the Traversal path, you'll gain the ability to see Tech Stashes on the mini-map.

Note the little detail at the end there. For reasons unknown, Tech Stashes won't show on the main full-screen map even with the All Seeing upgrade on your Traversal Suit. It's limited to just the mini-map, which only shows your immediate surroundings.

That means you'll still have to get relatively close to a Tech Stash before the mini-map will let you know that you're in the right area. Simply put, you'll want to keep an eye on it as you dart around the districts of New York and come to a stop once you see the icon appear in the corner.
