Squad Busters isn't a game that demands you take on everything by yourself. Your squad and team composition matters more than you know. With this guide, we'll educate you on the importance of Squad Busters Squad Journey and how to progress.
Finnish developer Supercell, the creators behind popular game Clash of Clans, have always prided themselves on games that hold a lot of depth. Whether that be with character development, or with in-game systems that demand you to take it seriously. Squad Busters is no different.
Once you're done with reading our guide on Squad Busters and the pivotal role of Squad Journey in-game, why not check out our Squad Busters beginners guide, and the tier list that we've cooked up to show you just which characters you should be paying attention to when you first play.
Squad Busters Squad Journey - What Is Squad Journey?
If there's one thing new players should know, it's that Squad Busters has plenty of different progression paths. It's easy to get them mixed up, and you shouldn't feel bad about it.
That said, Squad Journey is the easiest to remember, as it directly correlates with your progression throughout matches in Squad Busters. For each match you play, you'll be making advancement on your Squad Journey.
To access Squad Journey, players need to tap the Squad Journey icon on the bottom left of the Plaza on the Main Menu. This opens up the journey track, where you'll be able to see a path paved with rewards for you to earn.
Squad Busters Squad Journey - How To Progress in Squad Journey
Levelling up your Squad Journey requires you to earn an in-game currency called Portal Energy. The more of it you have, the more you're able to progress through your Squad Journey.
To earn Portal Energy, players will need to go through the evolution process with their heroes. The more players evolve their heroes, the faster they'll be able to advance.
As you progress through the Squad Journey, different worlds will also unlock, as well as several other rewards like chests, keys, and coins.
Squad Busters Squad Journey - Squad League
After you reach the very end of your Squad Journey, aka you unlock all of the worlds and get to their very last level, you'll unlock something called Squad League.
There isn't anything inherently unique about Squad League, as it is more of a battle modifier, rather than it's own thing.
Regardless, in Squad League you're able to unlock rewards by upgrading on a path with Portal Energy, just like with Squad Journey. This time around, however, players will be sorted into ranks: such as Bronze, Silver, and Gold.
