When does the Stardew Valley Egg Festival start?

The Stardew Valley Egg Festival takes place every year on Spring 13. The day before the festivities begin, Mayor Lewis will send a letter about it giving you enough time to finish any ongoing projects.

The Festival takes place between 9 AM and 2 PM and you can participate in the activities at any point during the two times. As soon as the clock ticks past 2 PM, you won't be able to take part.

Best Stardew Valley Egg Festival route

The highlight of the Egg Festival is the Egg Hunt. Once the hunt is underway, you have 50 seconds to collect as many eggs as possible. To win, collect at least nine eggs dotted around Pelican Town.

The map posted by Reddit user KittenOre gives you a chance to collect 14.

For winning the Egg Hunt, Mayor Lewis will give you a Straw Hat unless you've already got one from a previous victory and 1000 Gold which is bound to come in handy if any of the items have caught your eye.
