Stardew Valley Haley - Romance Guide, Schedule, Gifts, Heart Events

Haley in Stardew Valley.

Haley in Stardew Valley.

Think you can convince Haley to live the farm life with you? Here's how to romance Haley in Stardew Valley. With a cushy upbringing, Haley doesn't have much of a personality beyond her popularity and good looks. At least, not one she's able to really convey to others without coming across as self-involved and mean. She's seeking purpose, though perhaps even she doesn't realize it.

Down below, we'll go over everything you need to know to get through to Haley and tie the knot. We'll cover her likes and dislikes, where to find her at any (she's probably at home), and how her various romance events play out. They're a quick way to make her yours.

For a few other bits, check out five games like Stardew Valley for when you've exhausted this one. You'll also want to repair the community center and solve the Winter Mystery quest. And for the whole lot, our Stardew Valley walkthrough hub is worth checking out. Our Stardew Valley characters guide works in a similar fashion.

Haley Romance Guide

Unlike so many other characters in Stardew Valley, Haley isn't quite so easy to impress early on. She doesn't care much for most items in the game, making gifting difficult.

On the opposite side of things, she spends a lot of time at home. She's regularly available. That means you won't have to try too hard to meet up with her on busy days.

Schedule

For the most part, Haley's schedule is light. She doesn't appear to work shifts anywhere, which gives her plenty of time to relax at home or cook in the kitchen. She spends most afternoons by the fountain near the community center before heading home to cook dinner in the late afternoon.

The only change is on Mondays when she spends an hour or two around noon taking pictures by the river near Marnie's Ranch. If it's raining, she'll spend the day at her home.

Heart events when romancing Haley

At every two heart levels, you can trigger an event with Haley. The choices you make during these scenes can sometimes alter your friendship level in either direction.

Here how to trigger them Haley's heart events and how they play out:

Hearts
Event
Two
Visit Haley and Emily's house when they're both home. Haley and Emily argue over household chores. Suggest Haley makes it a weekly task for a friendship boost.
Four
Visit Haley while she's home. Haley needs your help opening a jar. Do so for a friendship boost.
Six
Visit the beach between 10:00-16:00 outside of Winter. Haley loses her bracelet in the sand. Sympathize with her for a friendship boost. You can find the bracelet behind a bush by Elliot's house.
Eight
Triggered by entering Cindersap Forest from 10am-4pm on a sunny day outside of Winter. Haley is taking photos by Marnie's ranch and manages to fall off a cow.
Ten
Go to Haley's house when she's home. You find Haley in her dark room. Tell her it looks great for a friendship boost.
Ten (Group)
Triggered by entering Haley and Emily's house after triggering the ten-heart event with all available characters. The exact dialogue of the event will differ if you have the Rabbit's Foot item at the time. Otherwise, you'll be berated for dating all the girls at once. They'll then ignore you for a whole week.
Fourteen
Triggered by entering Pelican Town between 08:00-15:00 on a non-rainy day. After the first, the next parts play out with from these additional triggers: Go home before 5pm the next day, then head to Pelican Town before the lat afternoon with a Chocolate Cake any day after that. You and Haley hatch a plan to help Vincent and Jas replace their tatty school books.

Married life after you've romanced Haley

Once she moves into the farm house after you get married, Haley sets up a small garden in the space behind the building. She'll sometimes stand there with her camera.

Like other marriage candidates, she'll offer you various dishes depending on the weather or time of day. On lazy mornings, she'll cook Bread, Pancakes, Friend Egg, Omelet, or Hashbrowns. If it's raining at the time, she'll make sweets like Cookie, Blueberry Tart, Pancakes, Maple Bar, and Poppyseed Muffin.

On rainy nights, she'll make Chowder, Eggplant Parmesan, Parsnip Soup, or Bean Hotpot.
