Steam broke its own records over the Thanksgiving weekend, with a whopping 27 million concurrent users listed for the platform in one day, a new all-time high.
GamesIndustry.biz reports that SteamDB recorded 27,384,959 players using Steam on November 28th. 7.8 million of those were playing a game at the time, and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was the most popular, with 915,791 peak players.

Steam Records All-Time High Concurrent User Count
Aside from CS:GO, other games that also saw high numbers of concurrent players include DOTA 2, with 677,744 peak players, and PUBG: Battlegrounds, with 344,841. Steam listed a record of 26 million concurrent players last April, and analysts expect that the record will once again be broken as the Christmas season approaches.
