Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is going to have a ton of skins for players to unlock and use, but some are easier to earn than others. Players who link their Twitch to Warner Bros. can get some exclusive links and they sure are…costumes for these characters.
Judging by the image shared by JayShockblast on Twitter, these skins look more appropriate in a game like Fortnite than Suicide Squad. While we’re always down for more colorful costumes, the neon color look has been overused in recent years, so this just feels like joining a bandwagon.
The only appropriate-looking skin here is for Harley Quinn, who has always been a fun and colorful character. Everyone else in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League looks like they should throw these costumes in the garbage. Okay, that’s not fair, we think King Shark might enjoy this outfit too.
More interesting outfits have already been confirmed for the game, including classic costumes that are much more comic-accurate. There’s also a pre-order bonus that gives these characters Justice League outfits, which is a good bit of fun. Let’s hope that the other skins in the game are a lot better, though we assume some of them are restricted to Battle Passes.
Ugly skins are far from the worst thing affecting Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, as the game has been criticized since its early reveal. Fans are already pretty tired of these huge live-service games and the gameplay doesn’t look unique enough to change their minds.
Leaks have also affected the game’s momentum, as the whole in-disc campaign story has been leaked, albeit, without some context. Despite this leak, various insiders have assured fans that the post-game will improve the game’s story. It’s kind of annoying to rely on post-launch DLC to improve the game but we’ll wait and see.
