Synduality: Echo of Ada – How to Beat Every Type of Ender

The cataclysmic rainfall may have ended, but the real battle is beginning. In Synduality: Echo of Ada, alien creatures known as Enders will stop at nothing to take you down.

However, it's not over until it's over. You'll have the upper hand by learning each Ender type's ins and outs and weaknesses.

This guide will equip you with the know-how to take down every Ender and survive in a world on the edge of ruin.

How to Beat Every Type of Ender

Enders are these strange alien creatures that showed up with the rainstorm that wiped out humanity. These guys aren’t native to Earth and seem to exist to destroy the last humans standing.

They may vary in their appearance and behavior, but they all have one thing in common: weak cores. The cores are usually in certain spots on their bodies, so targeting those weak areas is how you can do the most damage.

Enders also become stronger during rainfall, glowing with a purple aura that enhances their size, health, and damage. They are far more dangerous during these periods, and you’ll need to be on top of things for every encounter.

Here’s a rundown of Enders and how to take them out.

Chasers

Chasers are the most common type of Ender and resemble fast-moving, canine-like creatures.

They are quick on their feet, coming at you before you even know it. They mostly attack by lunging at you, causing heavy damage.

To take down a Chaser, focus on their head, where the core is. A safe distance is your best bet to dodge their deadly lunges.

Use ranged weapons to target their head, and be ready to dodge quickly when they charge at you.

Chasers may appear in more powerful versions, like Barons (green) and Viscounts (yellow), which boast stronger stats and can take more hits.

Gazers

Gazers are floating Enders, shaped like giant critters with a central eye and a tail.

They can find their targets far away and take them down with heavy-hitting projectiles.

A Gazer’s core is housed in the eye, making it the most exposed spot.

To beat Gazers, stay on the move and dodge their orb strikes. Since they can track you across the map, use cover and range to your advantage.

Striking the eye should be your top priority, as it drastically increases damage.

Crawlers

They might seem like tiny bugs at first, but Crawlers are trouble when they show up in numbers.

These creatures stay out of sight until they see you; they’ll hunt you down and explode on contact.

Their core sits inside their nest, but you can only strike it from above. Crawlers usually roll in pairs, so they're much more dangerous that way.

You can blast them with AoE attacks or take the high ground to go after their core from above.

Avoid getting too close, as their explosive attacks can be devastating.

Incubators

Incubators are massive, centipede-like Enders that dwell in places with water or sandpits.

These creatures can burrow underground, making them tricky to predict. They can shoot projectiles from beneath or leap up for a lunge attack.

The core of the Incubator is in its head, but you can only go at it head-on.

Keep your guard up when the Incubator is around, and be ready to dodge its lunges.

As with the other Enders, target the head when it rises and use ranged weapons to maintain distance—getting too close isn’t worth the risk.

When you take down Enders, you’ll collect some key materials for crafting and upgrading your gear. You’ll get different drops from each Ender to help you level up. Here are the materials you can expect to get.

  • Chaser: Fangs (Common), Core (Green Rarity)
  • Gazer: Electroweb (Common), Core (Green Rarity)
  • Crawler: Heat Gland (Common), Core (Blue Rarity)
  • Incubator: Secretions (Common), Core (Purple Rarity)

These are the materials you need to make weapons and complete specific jobs.

However, the rarer items, like the Incubator Core, are harder to come by, so it’s important not to sell them too soon.

Keep tabs on what you need and farm it when you can.
