The Game Freak leaks are massive. Hackers pulled out almost 1TB of content with Pokémon fans shocked at some of the documents released particularly when it comes to specific lore and stories surrounding some.

Many of these tidbits of lore aren't even canon. The vast majority are concepts Game Freak writers elaborated on and tossed aside. This being a massive company, records had to be kept.

Still, the fact that most are non-canon tales hasn't stopped fans from seeing some fan-favorite Pokémon in a new light. Here are some of the most unique, bizarre, and downright horrifying Pokémon stories from the leaks.

The Typhlosion incident

Let's get the big one out of the way first. Yes, among the leaks, there's a story about how a Typhlosion, Cyndaquil's final evolution, tricks a young girl into having a relationship with him. It ends even worse than you'd expect.

How much worse? The girl ends up giving birth to a half-human half-Pokémon baby.

Eventually, the kid's dad murders the Typhlosion. With the girl unable to cope following the village's scrutiny, she escapes wearing the murdered Typhlosion's fur, presumably turning into one herself.

It's an incredibly creepy, almost horror story that paints a once beloved and dare I say iconic Pokémon in a whole new light.

The Original Pokémon Sin

If you thought the first story was nightmare-inducing, wait until you hear about the Slakoth tragedy.

Poor Slakoth

In short, a cruel group of friends routinely tortured Slakoth's, a sloth-like Pokémon. They mutilated and even murdered them. One day, a member of the friend group got kidnapped by a Vigoroth, Slakoth's evolution.

The girl saw dozens of Slakoth's their friend group had tortured. Eventually, she gave birth to one herself, because that's standard by now in the Pokémon lore.

To conclude the story, the girl's friends end up mistreating and harming the Slakoth she gave birth to, conveying a very twisted moral about being kind to Pokémon.

Again, Game Freak will likely never ever consider using these stories as part of the official Pokémon lore. But the question still remains: who came up with these? And why? They are after all, official documents part of the leaks.

In my opinion, some things are better left unanswered. Perhaps an adult-themed Pokémon game might be a terrible idea after all.
