The New Razer Blade

As one of the leading distributors of gaming peripherals, Razer are renowned for revolutionising existing technologies and developing innovative, beautiful and powerful products, epitomised through their Mouse and Keyboards.

However, for quite a while now, Razer have been dominating the portable gaming industry with the creation of their Razer Blade netbooks. Designed around the motto ‘Work hard. Play hard’, the 2015 Razer Blade incorporates both ‘gaming on the go’, as well as professional mobile content creation. Whether it be video rendering, using high performance software packages such as Adobe Photoshop or the latest and most graphically demanding video games, Razer have all your needs covered.

What separates the Razer Blade from other gaming netbooks?

The main reason as to why the Razer Blade has been so successful in recent years is predominantly due to its astonishingly small size. Weighing a mere 4.47 lbs and measuring a thickness of 0.70 inches, Razer have produced one of the most portable gaming laptops.

But something that thin and sleek, must get pretty hot right?

When gaming, of course you will be looking at high temperatures, however, thanks to Razer’s ‘Touch Point Thermal Engineering’ users will avoid direct contact with the affected areas.

Surely, a laptop that small and compact can’t be as powerful as its counterparts?

Typically, a more compact laptop results in less power, however, Razer have once again broken the rules of convention. Featuring a GeForce GTX 970M graphics card and an Intel Core i7-4720HQ Quad-Core processor, the Razer Blade is arguably more powerful than most modern home PC’s.

Within their official announcement, Razer also included a short YouTube video showing off the iconic features of the new Razer Blade, while also sending a clear message out to their competitors.
