Throne and Liberty is no exception when it comes to the carrying and storage systems. Carry capacity dictates how many items your character can carry at once.

On the other hand, storage refers to the extra space in chests found in main towns. At first, your storage has limited slots, but you can expand it. Here’s how you can do that:

How to Expand Carry Capacity and Storage in Throne and Liberty

While both capacities start decently, you will quickly find that they fill up as you gather more items, clear quests, and explore new areas.

Storage and carry capacity can be increased by visiting the Storage Manager found in every major town. These managers are easy to locate using the map, where they are marked with a chest icon.

This will be visible regardless of how much you zoom in or out. Interacting with them will open a menu showing your inventory and storage slots.

Every player begins the game with a baseline setup:

  • Inventory (Carry Capacity): 130 slots
  • Storage: 20 slots

As you progress, these slots will become limited, especially when gathering materials or keeping rare items for later use. Expanding both capacities over time is important to avoid running out of space.

Once you interact with the Storage Manager, a menu displaying your inventory and storage will appear. Next to each, you will see a plus ("+") icon that allows you to increase the number of slots.

You can expand both storage and inventory in increments of five slots. However, each type comes with different costs:

  • Storage Expansion: Adding five extra storage slots will cost 5,000 Solant. This is relatively affordable and allows you to expand space for items you’ll use later.
  • Carry Capacity Expansion: Adding five more inventory slots, or "bag slots," is significantly more expensive at 250,000 Solant.

Given the steep price difference, it's generally recommended to prioritize expanding your storage before carrying capacity.

Since you’ll be visiting the Storage Manager regularly, upgrading your storage early on can prevent unnecessary clutter in your carry capacity.

This way, you avoid the hefty cost of increasing bag slots until you’re earning enough Solant to afford it comfortably.

Expanding your storage is helpful, but using it efficiently is equally important. To use your storage, you need to physically visit the Storage Manager each time you want to store or retrieve items.

While it might seem inconvenient, this feature is essential for late-game materials and reduces the strain on your carry capacity. One important aspect is that the items stored in your Storage Chest are transferable between servers.

If you decide to switch servers at any point, the items in your storage will carry over with you, making it easier to keep track of your progress across different worlds.

That wraps up everything you need to know about increasing your carry capacity and storage in Throne and Liberty. Remember, while the early game might allow some leeway, those late-game materials can make or break your adventure.
