What is BitLife train robbery?

As the name suggests, a BitLife train robbery is one of the game's criminal activities. In this, you'll attempt to pull off a daring criminal escapade, attacking a moving train and stealing its valuable contents. Alongside the bank robbery option, it's without a doubt the criminal activity with the most lucrative rewards, hence why it's such a tempting move if you're playing as a criminal in your current BitLife save. Of course, along with that comes an extensive risk, as failing in the BitLife train robbery will send you to prison for a long time.

How do I do a BitLife train robbery?

First off, your BitLife character will need to meet a few requirements before you're ready to try your first train robbery. You'll need to be 18, as that's the age where you first unlock crime as a potential career path. Luckily, you don't need to have a criminal history to partake in this particular activity, so from there you can dive straight in.

  • Head to Activities > Crime > Train Robbery.
  • Then you need to pick which train to rob, and at what time of day.
    • Note that the time of day is in sync with your device's time. As such, if it's midday you'll want to pick the 'High Noon' time, and so on.
  • Based on what time of day you've picked, the train may or may not show up. If it does, you'll be able to rob it and potentially make off with millions.

What are the BitLife train robbery rewards?

As hinted at, the rewards for the train robbery are arguably the most generous in the game. You'll always make off with at least $10 million. In your character's specific currency, of course. As such, it's a guaranteed payday if you can pull it off properly, setting you up for life.

There aren't any rewards or accolades outside of the payout, though it will help you unlock the Multimillionaire achievement for earning at least $10 million in one life. Equally, if you manage to rob the midnight train, you'll get the Going Anywhere achievement.

BitLife train robbery tips

As you can tell, the BitLife train robbery really is make or break. Pull it off and you're set for life - fail, and you'll be confined in your cell until your elderly years. As such, here are a few tips to help make sure your train heist is a successful one.

Crucially, make sure you set reminders or alarms for the times where the BitLife train will come by. Based on your local time zone, that's midday, midnight, 8:00 AM, 4:20 PM, and 6:00 PM. If you want to successfully complete a train robbery, these are the times to be on alert.

Equally, one thing you definitely don't want to do is alter your device's built-in clock to these times, bypassing the wait. BitLife is smart enough to recognise if you've done this, and rather than pulling off the heist, the train will hit you instead. That will kill your BitLife character, and set you back to square one. As such, you'll need to do it the old-fashioned way, by waiting for these times to roll around.

And that's everything you need to know about the BitLife train robbery. We've gone over what it is, how to do it, and the potential rewards you can get for your efforts. Of course, you could occasionally end up behind bars, but with an activity this lucrative, the risk is worth the reward.
