What Is The Warzone Underground Transit System?

The Underground Transit System in Warzone bears similarities to the Red Doors from Verdansk '84. Unlike the doors, the locations to access Caldera's underground are fixed and allow players to navigate the map quickly.

Simply jump into a mine cart, wait a few seconds, and you'll arrive at the next destination. It's important to note the lights above the hatch once you arrive inside the hubs. If it's green, it's safe to use but if it's any other colour, there's a chance of an opponent waiting for your arrival on the other side.

All Warzone Underground Transit System Mine Cart Locations

Within the hub is a map of locations allowing you to plan your next move. Here's where to find the Underground Transit System mine cart locations:

  • Arsenal
  • Docks
  • Runway
  • Ruins
  • Mines
  • Peak
  • Beachhead
  • Lagoon
  • Airfield
  • Fields
  • Sub Pen
  • Power Plant
  • Capital
  • Resort

Before jumping into the cart, it's worth noting there are only six access points that allow you to travel to multiple destinations. Peak, Fields, Docks, Mines, Sub Pens, and Airfield offer multple options while the rest are fixed.

Warzone Underground Transit System Lights

Once you're at the Underground Transit System hub, there are three lights to be aware of. Green, yellow, and red lights signal the possibility of any opponents waiting for your arrival. Here's what each colour means:

  • Green: Destination has no players nearby.
  • Yellow: Free of players but Gas has engulfed the destination.
  • Red: Players or equipment are in the area.
  • Off: You cannot travel.

Is The Warzone Underground Transit System Worth Using?

If the gas is closing in and you need a quick way to move to the next safe zone, using the Underground Transit System is a no-brainer. Even if you're looking for a fast way to visit another area of Caldera, it makes sense to use the fast-travel system rather than using a vehicle that attracts the attention of all nearby opponents.

It's unclear if the system will drastically change the pace of a typical Warzone match but its arrival does open the door for even more ways to play.
