To coincide with Vanguard's integration into Call of Duty's free-to-play battle royale, Activision and Raven Software have changed its name to Warzone Pacific, a new-era for the game. Verdansk will disappear into the history books in place of Caldera, a brand-new map located in the Pacific complete with over 200 new points of interest to explore.

Warzone Pacific Season 1 Roadmap
The roadmap for Season 1 of Warzone Pacific has been revealed and as expected, it's jam-packed full of content as Warzone transitions from Verdansk to the island of Caldera. Along with a new map, the entire Vanguard arsenal will be integrated into the game alongside brand-new vehicles and game modes to play.
Warzone Pacific Start Time
The Season 1 update for Warzone Pacific will go live on December 8th at 5AM GMT after the servers go dark on December 7th. Once they're switched back on, players will be dropping into the Pacific!
Vanguard Warzone Integration
The launch of Warzone Pacific means Vanguard will integrate into the game, including all Operators and cosmetic items from Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare. Vanguard players will be entitled to 24 hours of early access before the update goes live for the rest of the player base.
Warzone Pacific Rebirth Island
After some members of the community began to wonder whether Rebirth Island would be staying, Activision has confirmed that the smaller map will remain in Warzone Pacific along with the popular Resurgence game modes.
Warzone Pacific Playlists
When Warzone Pacific launches, players will have access to two alternative modes alongside the usual BR playlists. Vanguard Royale allows players to take part in aerial battles in fighter planes while Vanguard Plunder will arrive once Season 1 begins.
In these modes, only weapons from the Vanguard arsenal can be used in custom loadouts, which allows new players to master the new arsenal as well as seasoned veterans to test out what the new meta could look like.
Warzone Pacific Weapons
Once Vanguard integration has taken place, Activision says that there will be over 150 weapons to choose from in the Gunsmith, making Warzone Pacific's arsenal the largest in the history of the franchise.
Warzone Pacific Vehicles
A new map means a range of new vehicles to master in Warzone Pacific. Ranging from fighter planes to Jeeps, these new vehicles will be some of the fastest ways to navigate around Caldera.
Alongside the new vehicles, some from Verdansk will also be making their way to the Pacific, giving players plenty of choice when travelling on foot isn't the fastest option.
Warzone Pacific Battle Pass
Starting on December 2nd, players can work their way through a brand-new Battle Pass complete with 100 Tiers of new content, weapons, Operators, and more.
