The arrival of Caldera marked the start of a new era for Warzone. With Verdansk disappearing forever, the Pacific island remains the main map of the battle royale alongside Rebirth Island.
With Season 4 on the horizon, attention is moving to the new Fortune's Keep map alongside a new Battle Pass packed with a wealth of new content for players to unlock.
The upcoming update will also contain significant changes to Caldera. In addition to removing half of its vegetation to improve visibility, eagle-eyed players have spotted a familiar point of interest (POI) on the new map overview.
Storage Town Returns to Warzone
During the Verdansk era, Storage Town was one of the smaller POIs on the map but its close-quarters nature enabled players to score plenty of kills in a short space of time. This allows players to increase their weapon level as fast as possible.

Following the reveal of "micro-POIs" arriving on Caldera to reduce the amount of open space on the map, Call of Duty content creator "itsHunterTV" spots Storage Town on the Pacific island.
The Tweet above shows a clear resemblance between the new POI and Storage Town. Hunter jokes the developers should replace the existing POIs with Verdansk POIs, expressing their desire for the map to return.
The thought of popular POIs returning in the Pacific era of Warzone is an interesting one. Perhaps the appearance of Modern Warfare POIs on the island is laying the foundations for the reveal of Warzone 2 launching later this year. We will have to wait and see what Raven Software has in store.
