The ViewSonic ELITE XG321UG boasts a stunning 4K resolution on a 32-inch display.

The monitor was listed as ultra-wide in ViewSonic's announcement, however, it has a 16:9 ratio, unlike the 21:9 you'd expect from a typical ultra-wide display.

Where this monitor really shines is with the Mini-LED technology that allows for a whopping 1,152 local dimming zones and outstanding 1,400 nits of peak brightness.

This allows for brighter whites and deeper black to create greater contrast and offer improved visual clarity while gaming.

Not only this but the monitor is even armed with VESA DisplayHDR 1400 capabilities and 99% Adobe RGB colour gamut for intense realism and cinema-grade colour reproduction.

It is also equipped with the latest-gen NVIDIA G-Sync ULTIMATE technology and up to a 144Hz refresh rate which should help to provide an immaculate, smooth and fast gameplay experience.

Interestingly, this display does not have an HDMI 2.1 slot and achieves 4K at 144Hz via a DisplayPort 1.4 connection, which perhaps suggests this monitor is tailored more to PC users.

It even includes a ton of additional features such as height, tilt and swivel adjustments as well as flicker-free display technology and a blue light filter to help reduce strain during those marathon gaming sessions.

When it comes to stunning visuals alongside a smooth and fast gaming experience, this display looks like it will be a hard one to beat.

Should I Wait For The ViewSonic ELITE XG321UG Monitor?

Whenever a new monitor is announced, a common question for those looking to upgrade is likely whether or not the display is worth waiting for.

With this monitor due to release in Q1, you won't have that long to wait, however, if you're looking to upgrade immediately there are a ton of excellent options available.

You can check out some of the best ultrawide monitors or if you're looking for stunning visuals and high contrasts, any of the best OLED gaming monitors could be worth looking into.

It could also be worth checking out any of the best HDMI 2.1 monitors if you're a PS5 or Xbox Series X gamer.
