Thanks to the extensive arsenal of Warzone 2 weaponry, there are limitless methods players can utilise to outsmart the opposition. Whether you prefer to lock down a specific building to cause maximum impact or sprint around Al Mazrah, there are tactics to suit all styles of play.

With eyes turning towards the launch of Season Two, players continue discovering ingenious ways to catch nearby enemies off-guard. The latest trick from the playbook is already causing quite a stir.

It’s incredibly difficult to tell the difference between an inflatable decoy and a player standing still and one crafty operator is attempting to lure others into a false sense of security to score easy kills.

During a recent trip to Al Mazrah, Reddit user M-RiGGz headed inside a nearby building where they spotted a stationary opponent pretending to act as a decoy. After the ‘decoy’ opened fire, the player quickly sent them to the gulag.

“These inflatable decoys are getting out of control,” jokes the user. Other players were quick to commend the technique. “Genuinely had me thinking that he was a decoy for a good second,” comments one fan. Another reveals they had to watch the clip several times to spot the difference between the player and the field upgrade. “I had to watch this multiple times to figure out if it was a decoy or not.”

On the other hand, there’s a possibility some would think it’s some kind of bug preventing players from moving around the map. With various issues appearing, make sure you double-check any suspicious-looking decoys when entering a building over the course of a match.

Thankfully, it’s not a glitch meaning you’ll have to continue dealing with disappearing guns and mid-air helicopter explosions.
