Fire in Warzone 2 is the hot topic of conversation among players dropping into Al Mazrah and Ashika Island. Changes to the current meta mean the KV Broadside and its incendiary rounds are causing chaos while setting the opposition alight.
With the start of Season Two Reloaded right around the corner, players continue to encounter a range of bugs that impact their gameplay. Despite the best efforts of Raven Software and Infinity Ward, new problems keep appearing.
The latest issue involves players catching fire before a match has started and the burning carrying over into the match once it begins.
Warzone 2 players catching fire
Uncovered by Reddit user Your_a_looser, the issue stems from the dominance of incendiary rounds. Rather than the fires getting extinguished once the action begins, some are starting the match covered in flames.
Although the bug is purely visual, seeing flames constantly appear at the bottom of the screen is rather annoying. Even after scoring the win, the player remains ablaze when entering the victory helicopter with their squadmates.
“That’s happened to me before, mad annoying,” comments another fan. In addition to players transforming into blazing infernos, another bug is causing issues with armour plating. “I was able to plate in the aeroplane before we dropped. I thought it was cool until it broke plating and I had to run without them for the whole game,” reveals another player.

The reason behind players accidentally catching fire remains a mystery but there’s every chance it’s connected with the overpowered nature of the KV Broadside and the return of dragon’s breath rounds. Once Raven Software implements a nerf and applies a fix, burning players will become a thing of the past.
