Warzone 2 UAV Towers are one of several new additions making their way to Al Mazrah as part of the third seasonal update. The towers first appeared in DMZ and are now in Warzone 2 in a bid to spice up the gameplay.
The Season 3 update contains a wealth of new content ranging from an all-new Battle Pass, Valeria as a playable Operator, and the Cronen Squall battle rifle. Regarding gameplay, developers have confirmed the return of one-shot sniper rifles while others tease huge overhauls to movement and the time to kill (TTK).

What are UAV Towers in Warzone 2?
UAV Towers are small structures that have appeared all over Al Mazrah. Armed with a small satellite dish at the top of the pole, you can interact with the structures to reveal the location of opponents on the minimap.
Alongside the nearby enemies, using the UAV Towers also uncovers the location of nearby AI which appear as hollow red diamonds. Real players are solid red diamonds so remember to double-check the mini-map before thinking about launching a play.
How to use Warzone 2 UAV Towers
The process of using a UAV Tower over the course of a Warzone 2 match is incredibly straightforward. All you need to do to activate the towers is interact with the laptop at the bottom of it. Once it's active, the UAV tower will launch a few sweeps of the area to pick up anyone in the surrounding area.
It's worth noting that nearby players will receive a notification when a UAV tower is active. The towers also don't reveal all of the enemies on the minimap so don't expect a full reveal of red dots scattered across Al Mazrah.
Activision says the UAV tower covers an area the size of a 'medium POI' which is bound to come in handy during the final stages of a match.
