All Warzone movement changes
There are plenty of movement mechanic changes that will be dropping in the Season 1 patch, which the upcoming patch notes should clear up. However, we still have some information on what these changes will involve, based on the official post by Call of Duty on their blog.
Here are all the Warzone movement changes that you need to know about:
- Slide cancel: In Warzone 2, slide cancelling is making a comeback. This movement trick was missing when MW2 was integrated, and players weren't happy. Now, with MW3 integration, slide cancelling is back, so hopefully the community feedback will take a brighter turn this time around. Keep in mind that this won't reset the tac-sprint, though. Check out how to slide cancel in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone.
- Tac Stance: Tac stance, which players will know about from MW3, is coming to Warzone as well. It's like a middle ground between ADS and hip-firing. The operator holds the gun in a special way that's going to offer better accuracy while firing. While it's better than hip-firing, nothing can beat full ADS. It's quicker to get into tac-stance than ADS, so players should have an easier time with their gunfire precision for target acquisition.
- ADS While Sliding: Players will now be able to aim down the sight of their guns while sliding. This adds a new layer of flexibility to your movements.
- Reloading While Running: In the past, reloading slowed down operators significantly, making them vulnerable. But now, with MW3 integration, you can reload while on the move, keeping you more agile and less exposed.
- Movement Boost with Stim: Using the Stim tactical will provide a slight movement boost to operators. This makes it easier for you to escape from tough situations, giving them an advantage in engagements that you don't particularly want to be a part of.
