On many occasions, the outcome of a Warzone match comes down to the finest of margins. Whether it’s mistiming a reload or jumping from a rooftop and forgetting to pull the parachute, there are many ways players can miss out on scoring a victory.

With Season 4 coming to a close and as Season 5 comes into view, the final season of the Pacific era will pave the way for the launch of Warzone 2 rumoured to launch in November.

As the community continues to drop into Caldera, Rebirth Island, and Fortune’s Keep, players are sharing their worst in-game habits and how they’ve prevented them from becoming the last one standing.

The worst Warzone habits

Thanks to a post from Reddit user “DefunctHunk_COD,” numerous players are sharing their worst in-game traits.

“If I’m on a roof and getting shot, I’ll jump off of the back of the roof and use a stim mid-fall. However, using a stim stops you from pulling your parachute, so I just fall to my death every time.”

Another user mentions the sudden melee action in a hectic situation. “This drives me nuts,” says one commenter. “How is it that whenever I try to melee the person just backs up a bit and blasts me?”

While some players cite their mechanical abilities, others say their style of play is their worst habit during a Warzone match. “Playing too passive when I should be aggressive,” says “xiDemise.” Sometimes I give my opponents too much respect and second-guessing myself gets me killed.”

Considering the launch of Warzone 2 is on the way, there’s a high chance of the core mechanics changing to tie in with Modern Warfare 2. This means your worst Warzone habits could disappear altogether.
