Warzone quickly became one of the biggest Battle Royale games in the world! But with only one map, the game can start to feel stale.
However, it seems Activision have big plans for Season 2 of Black Ops Cold War, and we may see the launch of a brand new setting for Warzone!
New Map
Rebirth Island released with the launch of Season 1 for Black Ops Cold War. This map left fans wanting more, as it was much smaller than the previous map of Verdansk.
Luckily, recent leaks may be pointing towards a new Black Ops Cold War map coming in Season 2!
It's still unclear as to how this map will function (size, player count, density, etc.), but we can't wait to see what the developers have been working on!
Warzone 'End' Event
A recent tweet from @WarzoneNewz may have given us the date for Warzone's 'End' event.
As seen above, the tweet mentions the event will take place on 11th March 2021.

Many fans are speculating that a new map will launch after this event. But what will happen to Verdansk?
End of Verdansk?
Although it would be nice to have access to multiple Warzone maps, the current hardware limitations on current-gen consoles may make this impossible.
If Activision were to add a new full-sized map, it would likely mean the end for Verdansk.
