World Series Of Warzone $300K Tournament: Everything You Need To Know

After its initial reveal as part of the Summer Game Fest, the very first World Series of Warzone event is finally here, much to the excitement of competitive players and fans of the hugely popular battle royale. The tournament series is the largest Warzone has ever scene, joining the Call of Duty League (CDL) as Activision's second Call of Duty esports tournament circuit.

Unlike the CDL, the World Series of Warzone will see a number of players that have qualified for the main event through a qualification tournament in a bid to be selected by one of the team captains.

How To Watch $300K World Series of Warzone Tournament

Fans will be able to tune into all the action by watching Twitch Rivals' official channel that will be providing a dedicated hub covering all of the action. As always, many of the players will be showcasing their skills on their own channels. We recommend taking a look at the 100 Thieves duo of Tommey and Rated.

Schedule

The action commences on June 22nd at 10PM BST with the Captain's Draft. All of the captains will draft their squads before dropping into Verdansk on June 23rd at 10PM BST in a bid to win the lion's share of the huge prize pool on offer.

Format

The event will take place over six private matches, with one point to be earned for each kill scored and placement. A points multiplier will also be used in order for squads to earn the highest score. A full breakdown of the multiplier can be found below:

  • 1st place: 2x multiplier
  • 2nd-15th place: 1.5x multiplier
  • 15th-50th place - No multiplier

As the title suggests, there will be a total of $300,000 in prize money up for grabs for individual teams and the team captains,

Restricted Items

Many players have already expressed their concerns surrounding the MG 82 and its immense power in Warzone. Some have even called for competitors to avoid using it altogether, potentially leading to a list of restricted items.
