It's been a busy 2024 for Xbox already and it's about to get busier as Microsoft confirmed an upcoming Xbox Partner Preview set to be streamed on March 6.
The Partner Preview, as the name suggests, will focus on third-party developers showcasing titles coming to Xbox platforms, PC, and even Game Pass. Studios confirmed to be making an appearance include Capcom, EA, and Nexon.
There are also three games confirmed to be shown during the stream - EA's Tales of Kenzera: Zau, Capcom's Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, and Nexon's The First Berserker: Khazan.
The showcase will last roughly 30 minutes and will start at 10 AM PT/ 1 PM EST, and 6 PM GMT this March 6. Xbox has promised there won't be any filler as the stream will focus on "sharing exciting games news from talented studios from across the globe with no frills: just new game reveals, release date announcements, and fresh new gameplay from upcoming games, coupled with unique behind-the-scenes stories."
You'll be able to watch it both via the official Xbox Twitch and YouTube accounts. If you want the best viewing experience, the YouTube stream will be broadcasted in 40k and 60FPS. The Twitch feed, on the other hand, will be locked at 1080p.
It'll be interesting to see which third-party games end up making to Game Pass, especially knowing that Xbox's strategy will heavily rely on the subscription service rather than on having a wide catalogue of exclusives.
Recently, Xbox head Phil Spencer confirmed four formerly console-exclusive titles would make their way to other platforms - Hi-Fi Rush, Sea of Thieves, Pentiment, and Grounded.
The company will be refraining from bringing their biggest titles to other platforms, however, as the likes of Starfield or the upcoming Indiana Jones and The Great Circle titled developed by MachineGames won't be making their way to PS5 any time soon, even if rumours suggest otherwise.
