Star Wars fans are lucky to have multiple games almost every year. After 2023's Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Star Wars Outlaws was released earlier this year.
Multiplayer fans were also treated with the recent release of Star Wars: Hunters and Star Wars: Squadrons.
There may be a myriad of wonderful Star Wars games out there, but nothing can beat the charm and nostalgia of the classic Star Wars Battlefront games. While the series had a reboot in 2015, the originals were so big that they became part of many gamers' childhoods.
Unfortunately, the sequel to the original Star Wars Battlefront II was canceled and believed to be lost forever until the recent discovery of developer Free Radical's Star Wars Battlefront III's Wii build.
After a decade of research, community members finally found the game's latest build, presumably the last build for the Wii before it was entirely canceled.
The Free Radical Archive, a community centered around preserving Free Radical's canceled video game titles, created a Wii Showcase video to let Star Wars fans know how the game supposedly looks and plays. Check out the video below:
If this has piqued your interest and ignited the Star Wars fan, you can now play the game by running it through a Wii emulator. The Free Radical Archive has also shared the instructions and Discord channel on X for those looking to play it during the holidays.

While the Free Radical Archive distributes the game files freely, it's best to remember that you might have trouble downloading them today, as the download quota for the files on Google Drive has already exceeded.
The Free Radical Archive added a Dolphin emulator installer on Google Drive, making emulation simple for newcomers.
To start playing, you can download everything on Google Drive, set up the emulator, and run the Star Wars Battlefront III disc image.
Star Wars Battlefront III on Wii emulation is a great substitute for Ubisoft's recent Star Wars Outlaws if you feel the latter has been problematic regarding gameplay and performance.
