When it comes to progression in Zenless Zone Zero, your Inter-Knot level will be one of your main focuses. Similar to Trailblaze levels from Honkai Star Rail or Adventure Rank in Genshin Impact, the Zenless Zone Zero Inter-Knot level system reflects the overall level of your account and your progression through the game.

By gating access to content and features, you will want to know how to increase your Inter-Knot level fast in Zenless Zone Zero and all the rewards you will get for doing so. This will come in especially handy to gear up for the Zenless Zone Zero endgame activities like Hollow Zero and Shiyu Defense.

How to Increase Your Zenless Zone Zero Inter-Knot Level Fast

To level up fast and increase your Inter-Knot level in Zenless Zone Zero, you should:

  • Complete the main story
  • Complete dailies each day
  • Do Combat Simulation, Routine Cleanup, or Expert Challenge each day
  • Complete each stage of Hollow Zero once

Do note that Inter-Knot level progression is broken into chunks, with every ten levels requiring you to first complete the associated Inter-Knot Reputation Rank-Up mission to enter the next stage.

First and foremost, you should progress through as much of the main story as you can. Not only does this unlock new features and maps, as well as tell an intriguing story, but it also grants significant amounts of XP. While this varies from mission to mission, it’s the best way to start increasing your Inter-Knot level.

There are also various side missions you can complete, accessed via the HDD computer in the Random Play video store. Under the ‘Combat’ and ‘Exploration’ sections, you will find short missions you can beat that will reward relatively large sums each, though it varies for each mission.

Alongside completing main story missions, you should also be completing daily missions, known as Errands, and Battery-draining activities every day, including Combat Simulation, Routine Cleanup, and Expert Challenge.

With each daily reset, you will get a new bundle of dailies to complete, each granting 150 XP each. Furthermore, once a week, you will have the opportunity to complete two bonus objectives, which give you a further 300 XP. Over the course of a full week, that’s a hearty 1350 XP in return for only a few minutes of your time each day. There are also daily Trust Events that involve speaking to a character to increase your Trust rank with them, which also grants Inter-Knot XP.

Similarly, you should complete either Combat Simulation, Routine Cleanup, or Expert Challenge each day, depending on what materials you might also need. These reward hefty chunks of Inter-Knot XP and other items, though completing these activities consumes Battery charge, which recharges daily up to a maximum of 240. However, you can drink any coffee each day to receive an additional 60 Battery. This means you can spend 300 Battery charge on these activities. For example, Routine Cleanup costs 60 Battery but rewards 600 XP with each clear, granting you up to 3000 XP each day.

Hollow Zero is also a great way to level up fast in Zenless Zone Zero. You will earn 600 XP the first time you complete each stage. Plus, completing stages will increase your associated License level, which grants a further 600 XP every five levels. Keep in mind, however, that this is an endgame mode which will need to be completed in tandem with increasing your Inter-Knot level, as the difficulty gets harder with each stage.
