Best Landing & Loot Locations
Control Tower & Taxiway (38)
Overlooking the runway, the control tower is a great place to land considering the large area you are able to see.
Competition for this location will likely be very high, with the potential of a loot create or two being found in the area and the helicopter being in the near vicinity.
If you do land later than others, the hangars on the other side of the runway may be a better option but given how many people are likely to be sent to the Gulag in the early stages of the game, it is still worth the risk of getting into the control tower.
Main Warehouses (46)
The main warehouses in the military base is the central location of the area, meaning that there will be several players battling to get their hands on early-game loot, loot crates, utility and much more.
The trick for success when landing here is actually rather simple. Grab an MP7 as early as possible and take down everyone that you see with ease. Don't finish off the kill though!
Use them as bait to lure in their teammates so you can eliminate the whole team rather than ending up in the Gulag.
Barracks (44)
The barracks are less congested than the other two spots we have mentioned, making it easier to loot up without the fear of being shot in the back.
Each tent contains some form of loot, whether it's a grenade, a loot crate or one of the more common weapons found on the Warzone map.
Keep your eyes out for a legendary loot crate. The orange boxes distribute the rarest weapons in the game and there have been sightings of such crates being found in the barracks. It's the perfect place to build an extremely strong loadout in the early stages of the game so why wouldn't you land here?!
Strategy, Tips & Tricks
Take Your Chances In The Open
If you've opted to land near the barracks and have built a solid loadout that does deal damage at longer ranges, take the risk of crossing the runway.
Despite there being no cover, it is the perfect opportunity to take out under-equipped opponents that went to land in the hangars. If you go for the trek across the tarmac, be aware that some enemies to like to sit atop the hangers to get the height advantage on players that risk the journey!
Head South
Depending on where the zone is, heading south after you have grabbed all the necessary gear is the right play to make.
More often than not, the final few circles are located towards the bottom of the map and considering how lethal the gas is, it is important to stay ahead of the game and your opponents if you are looking to grab that W.
Secure A Sniper
With a total of four Buy Stations in the military base, it is easy to accumulate a large amount of cash through looting and taking down enemies.
At $6000, save up for a Loadout Drop Marker to call in a Loadout Drop at a location of your choice and arm yourself with an Assault Rifle/Sniper Rifle combination for maximum impact at long distances.
Considering the lack of cover around the runway and the southeast entrance, it is very easy to pick off targets when equipped with the right tools for the job.
