Best UGR Warzone Loadout

The addition of new guns and weapons in Warzone is nothing new. The start of Season 3 saw the arrival of the Nikita AVT assault rifle and the M1916 marksman rifle and following another update to Black Ops Cold War, the UGR submachine gun (SMG) is the latest gun to arrive in the battle royale.

Rather than firing bullets, this particular SMG fires steel darts with a "moderate bullet velocity" allowing players to deal plenty of damage in close-quarters scenarios. While it may prove effective when up close and personal with an opponent, the damage quickly drops off at further distances.

In order to extract the most performance, there are several attachments you can equip and after some testing, we've found a set allowing you to succeed on Caldera and Rebirth Island. Find the best UGR Warzone loadout along with the best attachments to use in our definitive guide.

Best UGR Warzone Attachments

With so many attachments to choose from, finding a strong combination is often difficult thanks to Raven Software's regular adjustments. After testing a few builds, we've found one that's lethal in close-range combat. Here are the best UGR Warzone attachments to use.

  • Muzzle: Muzzle Brake 5.56
  • Barrel: 14.5" Extended
  • Laser: Steady Aim Laser
  • Underbarrel: Patrol Grip
  • Rear Grip: Dropshot Wrap

With minimal need to improve the already deadly damage output, this build focuses on addressing other areas of the UGR in order to improve versatility. The muzzle brake tames any vertical recoil while the dropshot wrap decreases aim-down sight speed and flinch resistance, improving reaction times and allowing you to maintain accuracy during gunfights.

The build is certainly capable of slotting into the Season 3 meta and if Raven Software does decide to adjust its counterparts, there's a chance the UGR will feature in several loadouts in the near future.

Best UGR Warzone Perks and Equipment

Once the best UGR attachments are ready to use, taking a look at the best set of Perks and Equipment to use is just as important. With various benefits and the potential to deal some extra damage, picking to complement the UGR is a tricky task. Here are the best Perks and Equipment to use alongside the SMG.

Perks

  • EOD (Perk 1)
  • Overkill (Perk 2)
  • Combat Scout (Perk 3)

With the UGR geared towards close-quarters action, selecting EOD is a sensible option thanks to its increase in explosive resistance. For more versatility, Overkill is the next Perk to choose. With two primary weapons in the same loadout, it's much easier to deal with opponents from longer distances.

Last and by no means least is Combat Scout. If you land your shots onto the target, the opponent will turn orange for a few seconds which allows you to spot them in amongst any foliage with ease.

Equipment

  • Throwing Knife (Lethal)
  • Stim (Tactical)

This combination of equipment is dominating Season 3. The Throwing Knife is ideal for eliminating downed opponents as fast as possible while the Stim provides instant health regeneration and a speed boost.

Is The UGR Good in Warzone?

The UGR is an interesting gun to use in Warzone. Despite its lack of mid-range performance, it's very easy to excel in close-quarters combat thanks to its laser-like hipfire accuracy and incredible levels of mobility.

It may fall short compared to the guns within the meta but the UGR is still worth using.
