It seems Cronus Zen has become the go-to software to use to boost your odds, but what is it and how does it work?

This software seems to be the most popular as it's technically not an "aimbot" as its not 100% accurate. However, this still gives you enough of an advantage to be classed as cheating.
How it Works
The software will need access to your game files. On PC this is simple, however, for the software to work on console you need the small piece of hardware.
As mentioned before, this software can be detected by Warzone's anti-cheat because it is directly accessing the game's settings.
Cronus Zen has a very subtle effect on the players gameplay, making it hard to spot when spectating a player in-game.
Is it Cheating?
Absolutley, yes.
If you're looking at purchasing and using the Cronus ZEN, this may come with consequences. By using this third party software you are breaching the terms of use of Warzone possibly causing your account to get banned.
